Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah offers visitors some of the most beautiful, unlikely rock formations including towering spires, fins, arches and mazes.

Bryce Canyon is not actually a canyon but a spectacular amphitheater carved by erosion in the 50 million- to 60 million-year-old rocks of the Pink Cliffs. These cliffs are the upper-most step in the Grand Staircase, which rises to the north between Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Parks.
